They buy coffee directly from the farmer and work with the best baristas to create a unique and honest product.
In 2007 they took their first steps on a plantation in Brazil, where they became obsessed with the endless possibilities that coffee offers and were touched by the enormous effort and love that coffee farmers around the world put into this product.
Not long after, we decided to translate their story to the coffee bar in the Netherlands. Varieties, processing methods and roasting profiles determine the character of the coffees they serve.
Fueled by their quality controls and the feedback from our baristas, the roast profiles are adjusted when necessary.
The mutual sharing of knowledge about all aspects of coffee strengthens the sustainability and transparency of their direct trade relationships.
Born from an idea on a coffee plantation in Brazil, we continue to grow and tell the stories told to us in Guatemala, El Salvador and Costa Rica. They focus on working directly with coffee farmers and decide to do business directly.
Not only to reward them better, but also to have more insight and control over the coffee that we can buy from them. This Direct Trade model gives us the opportunity to make a small change in our part of the coffee market and build relationships that they are proud of.
